PostSubject: Musicals/Broadway Shows   Sat Aug 08, 2009 10:00 pm

I've always looooved Musicals and Broadway shows :'DD and I wanted to know if anyone else here likes any specific ones 0.0 here are some I like:

Chicago

Rent

Wicked

Beauty and the Beast

I've seen Rent (saw the movie first though), Wicked, and Beauty and the Beast on Broadway. I've only seen the movie Chicago and really wanna see it in Broadway before it's taken out again (they do that every few years or so)

The movies Rent and Chicago are AWWESSOOOOME

But of course they aren't like the originals, which happens to be the musical on stage itself.

Seeing it on stage is such a thrill, you get so into it! [least I do xD]

I LOOOOVE IT XD

so just wondering...

Does anyone else love it too? Razz

There was a local showing of Cats a few days ago, and I missed it D':
Only Broadway show I've ever seen live was Beauty and the Beast (when I was little), and it was gorrrrgeous <3 (Even if I only remember the "Be our Guest" sequence with all the light-up champagne...)
I'd love to see more v.v
Yeah.... If you look at my playlist you will find a lot of Chicago, Cats, Sweeney Todd, Rocky Horror Picture Show (Or Rocky Horror Show if it's live...), and a few selctions from Grease and Wicked. I [horribly] sing "Memory" like it's nobody's business! x3

I'd love to see those shows live, and then some~
Just imagine how funtastic it'd be to be IN one XDDD

Once again, I go GRIM. >Very Happy

I've only seen a few musicals, being...

The Phantom of the Opera
Sweeney Todd
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

My family found them boring, yet I enjoyed em. :/

I also found the movies (excluding Dr. J and Mr. H, cuz I don't believe they have a movie) rather nice. @w@

You don't like Rocky Horror, Joey? XDD
I, too, was the only one in my family who liked the musicals, but I eventually got my siblings hooked on Todd :K
Yes o.o Phantom and Todd both have AMAZING movies.
But Jekyll and Hyde are usually better in non-theatre type films. Made for an interesting character in Van Helsing, even XD

Actually, I haven't either o.o Ain't that sad? DX I've seen snippets, of course...Read the script. And sketch performances. I'm just addicted to the soundtrack. For some odd reason, I've had songs for quite a while .__. Mhmm. I sing "Sweet Transvestite" when nobody's looking ;D

Don't worry, we can be Rocky Horror virgins together XDD

You wouldn't be the only one...XD And I'm not limited to one song, either. I don't think there's a single Sweeney song (at least the shortened movie versions; save the Ballad) I haven't burst into whilst alone o.o Or in public for that matter...-cough-

I will have veeeeeengeaaaaannncee! I will have sallllvaaaaaaaaatiooooooonn!~

...I've been staring at your avatar this entire time, by the way X3

I am Miguel!

And I am Tulio!

And they call us...Miguel and Tulio!

XDD Haven't seen that film in years....

I don't remember ever seeing it as a younger kid .-. But I've seen it as of now...I do remember reading Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats, though XD Clearly o.o

I have an old, grey, and still gorgeous cat with a bad ear named Sassie o.o She's the living Griz.

I also have a fat tabby cat ('cept he's male v.v), and a pretty little white cat...o.e Woah. The characters live in my house.
